가정중학교

공립형 대안중학교인 가정중학교의 학교철학을 바탕으로 학생들에게 자유로운 사고와 활동영역을 다채롭게 하기위해 우리는 처음부터 개교준비팀 교사들과 교육과정과 연계된 환경공간을 연구하고 그 연구를 바탕으로 환경공간을 전면 재구조화시켜 공간프로그램을 형성하고 그에 따른 현상설계와 공간, 그래픽 디자인을 구성하였다. 학교 안 마을을 형성하고 목공공작소, 음악연주실을 독립적으로 구성하여 학교 자체가 자유로운 산책공간으로 제안한다. 모든 기숙사는 하나의 하우스개념으로 설계하여  편안함을 제공기 위해 그에 따른 색상과 재료적인 부분을 수없이 고민한 부분이 있다. 개교식날 많은 학부모들에게 학생들을 위한 공간에 감사하다는 인사에, 학교에 대한 본질적인 고민이 중요한 계기가 된 학교 프로젝트. 

Based on the school philosophy of Ga-jeong Middle School, a public alternative middle school, the team started from the beginning by collaborating with preparatory teachers to research environmental spaces linked with the curriculum. Building on this research, the team completely restructured the environmental space, developed spatial programs, and created corresponding design solutions for architecture and graphics. The project proposed the school as a free, walkable environment, with independent spaces such as a woodworking workshop and music room, forming a village-like atmosphere on campus. Every dormitory was designed as a "house" concept to provide comfort, with thoughtful consideration given to colors and materials. On the school's opening day, many parents expressed gratitude for the student-centered spaces, making the project a significant opportunity to reflect on the essence of educational environments.
